no more pencils, no more books...

Ben has graduated from kindergarten! School's out for the summer...and he couldn't be happier. They had a cute little end of year program in his class. They sang some songs they learned and then got to walk around getting autographs and phone numbers from their friends. I brought my little video camera and let Ben wander around with it. The ongoing commentary is pretty cute, though one might get a little sick from watching the video bouncing all over.

Here's one of the songs they sang about leaving kindergarten (Ben is sitting on the far right (our right), wearing blue t-shirt):

Come and listen to our story about what we did this year.
We've been working very hard and we think that it's clear:
We learned a lot of stuff and we made some real good friiiiieeeennnnds!
Now we're leaving kindergarten but the learning doesn't end...
First grade: bigger numbers, bigger words!

In other news, Ben got a hold of a marker last night and came to tell me that he wanted to look like a zombie.
