Alex was quite subdued today. He has a sinus infection, and probably a cold, plus woke at 4:30 this morning. He invited me to cuddle with him on his bed, and fought sleep the whole time. It was so nice getting that chance to cuddle; singing and scratching his arms just like I used to.

We also brought him some cheese puffs (Pirate's Booty) and some blackberries and blueberries. At the home in Salem, there were blackberry bushes peeking over the fence, and he'd make a beeline for it each time we took him outside for a walk. He was so sad when the seasons changed and there were none left.

Jeremy took Alex for a walk briefly, but brought him back in after the cold air had him coughing a bunch. The rest of the time was just spent hanging out and playing with him. It was a wonderful visit!
