A week from Monday, Alex will get to ride about two hours north to be put under for another MRI, then ride two hours home. Lucky! (Not.) I am very interested to see what (if any) changes there are on this next MRI. I finally got the disc containing all the scans he's had. Here is a little comparison of the MRI before Rapamycin, and the MRI 2 months later:

Ben sure had fun at the neighbor's house today. He went over to play right after school, came back an hour later to ask if it was okay if he ate dinner over there, came back an hour later to ask if he could take "Despicable Me" over to their house to watch, came back 25 minutes later to find his lightsaber to take over to their house to play with during the movie, came over an hour later informing me he was going on a flashlight walk with them....and finally came home super hyper and smelling of little boy sweat. I asked what he had for dinner and he said cake and ice cream, and then later got some gummy bears and marshmallows. Nice. No wonder he loves it over there so much!
