Ben had a dentist appointment yesterday morning to put in a spacer where he's missing a molar (he crunched into a popcorn kernel and split the tooth right in half several months ago). Since it's a tooth that he wasn't supposed to lose until 12+ years old, they decided to put in a spacer so the teeth didn't grow together before the permanent one could come down. While they were in his mouth getting it glued on, they accidentally bumped his remaining loose front tooth out. Between having to get used to the spacer and the missing teeth, he really has trouble pronouncing words now. He's so cute though!
(They told him the spacer was like "tooth jewelry", so that's what he's referring to in the video.)
