goodbye, kitty

Today I had to take my cat in to be euthanized. A crappy ending to a crappy week. He just wasn't doing well anymore. He was skin and bones, dehydrated, weak....couldn't keep any food down, couldn't keep control of his bowels/bladder very well. It was time, but it still sucks. He was the best cat. He got to lick a bunch of cream cheese, and got to go outside one last time to watch the birds, feel the breeze and chew on the grass while I took some last pictures of him. Then I just held him in my arms while he purred away until it was time to go to the vet.

I'll miss him a lot...at least he isn't suffering any longer.
