easter eve

Here are some pictures from Saturday.

10am candy hunt in the park. Starts off with a quick picture with E.B. himself. (Later, after all the kids got a nice glimpse of the back of him and the zipper part way down with his her long hair coming out the back...well, I explained that was just E.B.'s helper. Ben agreed, like he already knew, saying the real E.B. is invisible.)

Then we met up with some friends. (My friend has many kids (five), and had one in each age group this year (the candy hunt is split into age groups so the 7-9 year olds don't crush the tender, slower, younger ones). There was much silliness and impatient anticipation...


Finally they were let loose! Chaos ensued.




When we got home, we decorated some Easter cookies...






...and colored some eggs.
