alex's first day

[sarcasm]Gee, it's a good thing they decided Alex couldn't handle a full day at school because he has problems transitioning to new places.[/sarcasm]

When I asked his teacher how Alex's first day of school went, I got the following response:

Hi Karen,

Alex had a great day! He enjoyed exploring the school, came into the classroom, completed some work, enjoyed snack with his friends and was a pretty smiley guy. He did engage in some self injurious behaviors, but nothing too extreme. I will let keep you updated on his progress.
