fun day

Yesterday I spent the day with Ben and his class at Bauman Farms, about 40 min north of here. That place is like the Disneyland of pumpkin patches! They had so many things to do there...hay castles with tunnels, huge hay towers to climb, many different sized tunnel slides, including one that at least two stories high. The kids had so much fun! They also got to learn about how apple cider is made, then sample some alongside a fresh donut. Oh, and there was mud. Lots of mud.

Last night we went to a special "Swim in the Dark" event at the indoor pool. They had the overhead lights turned off, and the pool lights on. They had fun Halloween music playing, laser lights overhead, and several pumpkins floating around in the pools. They also had this thing were they put pennies in the pool, and if you found 10 of them, you could go cash it in for a piece of candy. Ben had a blast, of course!
